Term 2 test - refer to the study sheet from class. Know how to put a sentence into the future tense, how to answer questions, how to put a sentence into a negative form and translate from English to French or French to English. Tues. March 6th

Language Arts - Boys

Final copy of poem is due on Thursday. Print it at home or find a time before class to have it ready to hand in.

Poetry response is due on Tuesday, April 10th. Use your notes to write the response. Include what the poem means, how the poet structured it - lines (sentences or phrases?)and punctuation. Also, write the first line or stanza, with yourself as the boy and include something that you will never be able to do . . .

Language Arts - Girls

Read for 30 minutes every school night. You may substitute a weekend night for a school night. Fill in your reading information in the calendar in your reading notebook.

The rough draft of your amazing short story will be due on Wed. March 28th - after Spring Break. Make sure that you have believable characters, an interesting plot, a valid conflict that is resolved well, great dialogue and some vivid language and description.Please e-mail me your draft, and I will do the editing comments on the side again. sfehr@meisoc.com
