MEI Athletics Wall of Fame
The MEI Athletics Department with the support of the Secondary School Administration and Eagles Athletic Committee is proud to announce the implementation of a MEI Athletics Wall of Fame. The overall purpose for the MEI Athletics Wall of Fame is to be a source of inspiration. The wall of fame is meant to inspire athletes here to see what others have accomplished once they have left MEI. Also it gives the MEI community an opportunity to support and celebrate those student-athletes who have moved on to higher athletic endeavors.
The wall of fame is divided into 3 sections: 1. The first part acknowledges students who are currently doing amazing things in athletics above and beyond MEI Athletics i.e. Provincial teams, national teams, national champions, etc. 2. The second part is for students who have graduated and gone on the post secondary athletics in some form. i.e. College University Professional Olympics Etc. 3. The third part is for those students who have gone on to achieve much greater things. An example is someone who has won national awards in university or become a professional athlete.
This is a large endeavor and the athletic department would like to make sure that as many of the athletes can be recognized as possible. The MEI Athletic department needs people in the MEI community to let us know what current students are doing some amazing things athletically and what alumni should be acknowledged.
Please email tsmith@meisoc.com with information. Currently the MEI Athletic department is looking for names of alumni who played post secondary athletics before 1994. A list of current names will be on athletics website and in the PE Hallway.

M.E.I. ATHLETICS
Athletics is an important part of our society and it is a very important part of our school. Each year the teachers, the coaches and the community look forward to the surprises and successes that make each school and athletic season unique. MEI is dedicated to the purpose of providing a sound athletic program integrated with a Christian view of God, the world and competition. Every student that is wearing the blue, gold and white will be learning about the concepts of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, persistence, dignity, class, and most importantly how to honor God with our effort no matter what the situation or score.
